Laura Daniels to speak at 2013 National Agvocacy 2.0 Conference

We are pleased to announce the addition of our closing Keynote Speaker, Laura Daniels to the 2013 National Agvocacy 2.0 Conference line-up.

Laura Daniels is a mother, wife, farmer, consultant, and agriculture advocate. At Heartwood Farm, Cobb, WI, Laura and her husband Laura Daniels 2013 National Agvocacy 2.0 Conference Keynote SpeakerJarred Searls take great joy in teaching their children Nathan 12, and Julia 8, their values as they work together.  While Laura and Jarred share in ownership of the farm, it is Laura who serves as General Manager in charge of day-to-day operations. They have 6 full-time employees, 300 Jersey cows and operate 650 acres of crop and pasture land. Laura also does consulting in the areas of team building, employee management, and dairy cattle nutrition. More recently she is hitting the road to deliver pro-ag and motivational speeches across the country, inspiring many to find their passion, build their skills and have confidence to tell their story.

Daniels will challenge you to think about how you tell your story, and urge you to tell it at every turn! She will ask you to incorporate your values, since that is what research shows is the best way to connect with consumers. She will teach you some tricks to help you remember the most effective way to tell your story, and this real farmer will evoke your pride, because you are in the business of feeding people, and that is work with a purpose, and work worth protecting. Laura’s dynamic combination of down home farm girl charm and polished professional speaker will have you laughing while you learn. You won’t want to miss this high-energy wrap-up session!

The National Agvocacy 2.0 Conference is the premier, learning experience for agvocates. Scheduled for Aug. 22-23, 2013, the conference is located in beautiful Charlotte, NC. Applications to attend the conference will be open until May 24.
