FoodChat on Hot Hot HotHot Foods, Spicy Foods People love hot and spicy food. But you do have to be careful. This FoodChat discusses some of the hottest foods out there, some do’s and don’ts, plus places to go to get hot foods.


  • What’s the spiciest thing you ever ate?
  • What is your favorite hot [sauce, powder, juju, secret] for cooking [steak, fish, pork, vegetables]?
  • When cooking with spicy ingredients, what are some dos and don’ts?
  • What is the most unusual spicy food you have tried or enjoy?
  • Spicy means hot to most people. Are there spices you use that are not really hot but do have a kick?
  • Are there any chilis that are just too hot to eat?
  • New Orleans has a reputation has a hot / spicy food city. What other cities are there & what is their ‘kick’?
  • Do you grow any hot or spicy plants? What kind?
  • Does anyone use spices as a health benefit as well as taste? (Cinnamon for blood pressure, etc.)
